Camp Forestcraft 2012
Camp Forestcraft will operate in 2012 under the direction of Forestcraft Expeditions. The Camp is still a multi-day outdoors program focusing on hiking and canoeing adventures within the Adirondack National Park. Expedition experiences will include learning skills such as: canoeing, water navigation and safety, backpacking , trail navigation, Leave-No-Trace etiquette, camp set up and operation, cooking, fire building, safe wildlife practices, backcountry safety and food preparation, in addition to developing leadership, teamwork, and independence. The program can accommodate as many as 9 participants for a 3-week canoeing/backpacking camp. The camp is co-ed and open to student campers aged 14-16 who have an adventurous mindset and interest in the outdoors.
